Description
DreamGYM doorway swing (or also known as door frame gym) is a great solution for keeping kids active.
Therapy Sensory Doorway Swing is great for providing vestibular input for children with sensory processing disorder and autism. Deep pressure create calming effects. The cuddle swing is commonly used in occupational therapy, it helps to stimulate child’s vestibular system and give him deep touch pressure.
This cuddle swing is a very simple device, four-way stretchable fabric squishes the child inside and rocks him/her back and forth, up and down. It is recommended by occupational therapists and can be used for home therapy.
It is made of high quality stretching fabric (95% cotton, 5% lycra). It has soft and natural feel. It will always have a four-way stretch and you will not get bagging in highly stressed areas. Kind of annoying to install. As a previous person stated you need a flat door mine was not flat. I still manage to install it. But you had to make sure the locks still had room to turn. This took many screwing in unscrewing to get it right. It says you can put it either 5 inches or 10 inches from the top. I chose 5 inches and thank God I did because it was the perfect height for my child. I think 10 inches would’ve been too low. I cannot figure out how to get the red one to attach to the hooks though hoping to find a tutorial on YouTube. My son is younger than the recommended age he is 2 1/2. And this is still pretty good for him. I just have to keep an extra close eye on him so that he does not fall off and hurt himself it says weight limit is 220 pounds my daughter who has 100 pounds was fine on it but the creaking really creep me out. I think the creaking was from the hooks and not from the actual structure I am still going to tell my other kids not to use it seeing that they are all over 100 pounds. Knowing what I know now I would definitely buy it again and it is a great addition to my sensory bedroom.

Requires flat surface around your door of 2 1/4″ to mount it. I can’t mount it on ANY of my door frames. I wish this information had been on the web site before I ordered.
