- Position the BuckleBoss Belt Guard over the red seatbelt button.
- Insert the seatbelt into the side slot that is over the opening where the belt fits into the buckle.
- Do not insert the seatbelt into the middle slot (it’s not critical, but makes it a little more difficult to “pop” the button quickly).
- To release, push any key or slim object into either of the two free slots.

Good idea, but these buckle guards would not fit on the seatbelts over the buckles in the back seat of my 2016 and 2019 Kia Sorento cars. They worked on the front seat buckles, but my grandchild must sit in the back seat.

The design does not fit low enough over the buckle mechanism in my 2019 Acura RDX. In other words, when the buckleboss is in place I am unable to get the silver part of the seat belt end deep enough through the “cage” to get it to snap in. I have to break off and remove one of the plastic cross bars at the top of the cage to get the seat belt end to snap and lock into place.

This was the best thing I’ve found to stop my daughter from getting outta her seat belt. Only concern is how long they will last before they break as they are made out of plastic. You guys should step it up a notch and make them out of a aluminum sheet or Cnc aluminum and make them different colors and designs.

Thought this was a universal thing and it may be….however it did not fit my 2016 Kia Sorento. The buckle is just to large, would not fully snap into place and I had to modify the plastic using a dremel to make more room for the buckle to go in. Great idea, I just wish the description was more specific on models before I bought this.

The buckle guard did not work on the rear seat belts in my 2016 Toyota Tacoma, the latch did not connect. They would work on the front seat belt, but I don’t need them in the front seat.
I tried to use them in my 2011 Toyota Rav 4 but, again, the belt would not lock, neither in the back seat nor the front seat.

I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s well made. But…… it didn’t work for my 2020 Toyota C-HR. You can still use it, just need to cut out one of the plastic stick which it was easy to do. Shipping was fast, thank you

I am so very thankful to have found this! I had been waiting to hear back from my son’s OT about something that would keep him from taking off his seat belt while I was driving. I was very pleased that it worked and now my son is learning that he has to wait to have a parent take off his seat belt for him. My son is always unbuckling his seatbelt! While thus product is not perfect, it has helped keep him safer in the car. My only criticism would be that it doesn’t fit all buckles. Ex: it fits our Nissan Cube’s buckles, but not a Honda Fit’s.
